Dagmar Hovestädt

Producer, director, writer with over 20 years of experience. She started her broadcast career in the early 90s as a political reporter and editor in Berlin, Germany with ARD's national investigative program KONTRASTE. In Los Angeles since 2000 she has broadened her scope to cover technology, current affairs and entertainment for different outlets like ARD, 3SAT and Premiere often in conjunction with JuRiFilm. Her focus is on directing and producing documentary films, interviews and image films.
Dagmar studied journalism, political science and film in Mainz, Boulder (Colorado) and Berlin completing with a Master’s Degree from the Freie Universität Berlin.
